Redecorate Again or....

The reality of “redecorating” the budget hotel is where cost is “as little as possible,” the financial retune is often barely noticeable, and the process needs to be repeated in 2 or 3 years. Typical the work is done by firms that “decorate” hotel interiors and have little or no knowledge of hotel operations or additional revenues sources in the local community. That’s why nothing is done to finds additional revenues sources or improve hotel operational efficiency. Could the reality of this perpetual approach be a waste of money and in need of an alternative?
“Renovation” to an upscale hotel in a market with little competition is a realistic alternative. While more costly it results in a near transformation of the hotel interiors and often the exteriors as well. The return on the investment is good, can last for up to 5 years, and could even be longer. Rarely does a minimal “redecoration” provide increased hotel efficiency or additional revenues other than a slight room charge increase compared to a renovation.
Architectural Design Partners, Inc is different. We see the alternative as a more realistic approach. We bring 50 years of hospitality operational knowledge to each project. We know how hotels operate and focus on maximizing operational efficiency. We do not involve ourselves in “redecorating” budget hotels. Instead, we “renovate” budget hotels to an upscale class where there is little or usually no local competition. We can design and rebuild not only interiors but also exteriors. We also research local community needs to determine additional revenue source to be included in the “renovation” process. We don’t just design and walk away, we build, furnish, and supervise the project from start to finish. We have access to hundreds of thousands of suppliers, most of which clients are unaware of.
Why continue a low return, budget hotel “redecoration” process? Why not consider an “up-scale renovation” to increase operation efficiency, add additional revenues from local community needs, and improve profit margins. Let’s talk.
